CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS
The Nigerian Actuarial Society hereby calls for participation in the SOA EXAM P Tutorial & Exam Sponsorship pilot program targeted at University of Lagos undergraduate students. NAS is committed to the advancement of the actuarial profession and we believe that developing young talent is crucial to achieving this mission. While this initiative is aimed at undergraduate students at the University of Lagos for the pilot, we do hope to extend it to students in other universities in the future.
NAS will be responsible for providing tutors and study resources for the program in partnership with Milliman Inc, the largest global actuarial employer. Additionally, exam sponsorship for the SOA Exam P will be provided for selected participants. The venue for the tutorial is the University of Lagos Campus.
This initiative is open to students from ALL fields and levels of study thus, interested candidates with a strong mathematics background such as Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Accounting, Finance, etc are encouraged to apply.
A physical intake examination will be conducted for students who have registered interest on the 27th of January 2022 at the University of Lagos and a number of students will be selected to participate in the tutorial.
Selected Students MUST be willing and prepared to write the SOA Exam P in the May exam Window.
