The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Milliman Inc. launched a new initiative to build actuarial expertise in developing countries, helping quantify and prepare for risks in these uncertain times. As part of this initiative, they are launching a virtual exam tutorial to provide support on IFOA exam CS2 (Risk Modelling and Survival Analysis) for the upcoming April 2023 exam sitting.
The objective of this tutorial is to provide supplementary support on what the students are learning and working through on the exams, review the key content that students are struggling on, and go through some related exam questions and Q&A. Students are expected to come prepared for the session. There will be no financial costs involved in taking these tutorials, however, consistent attendance of classes will be required for continued participation in the tutorial.
Priority will be given to students re-taking the exam and those enrolled in the April 2023 sitting. However, we still encourage everyone who is interested to apply. In return for participation in the tutorial, a commitment of 5-10 hours of volunteer time with the actuarial society to support future generations of students in their development into the profession will be required from you.
